"This is a story that is often untold, and overlooked. A raw adventure of fighting the elements of illness, as a young wife and mother by seeking Jesus first. Start from the beginning, and see how the Lord can take a very broken and ill individual and bring about a truly unique LIFE and LOVE story." - BRYNN (& Jeremey and Tatum).

The Wilson "4" ... Back in action!

Well, we're back ... I took quite a long break from blogging.  Not intentionally, it just kind of happened due to a very busy summer. I'll tell you this though ... It was a summer like none other. A lot of people may say that, but I can't explain how overwhelmingly true it is for my (our lifes). This was the first summer in 6 years where I have felt "healthy." Well ... healthier than I have in MANY years. It was a wheelchair free summer, full of adventures that I thought I would never be abel to experience in this physical body with my physical illness. I set out in my mind to give Tatum the best summer I possibly could, knowing that we wanted to start trying to get pregnant in July. And that's what we did ...

We went to the zoo, filmed multiple weddings as a family (Tatum included), grandma Pruitt visited and spoiled us rotten, our niece Madison lived on campus here for 6 weeks with us, we went to a couple graduations, had dinner dates with friends, had a long vacation in Arizona for a week and a half, went to a waterslide park, swam our hearts out, had 6 beach day trips, went to the san diego fair, attended a few birthday parties, had lots of family visit, rode some horses, enjoyed the olympics, had a two day family vacation extravagnza at Disneyland ... and to top it all off we got PREGNANT!  ... ... ...

(pictures all taken from the day we found out the news!)

Just days before we found out I was pregnant this thought crossed my mind ... "Lord am I healed???"

A couple days later the nausea set in, the tiredness took over, and the dizziness increased, and I KNEW, either I was pregnant, or my illness was rearing its ugly head again ... We were so blessed that it was the new life forming inside me, that was causing me to feel so gross ... so as for the question I asked the Lord about whether I was healed or not ... I guess we'll just have to wait and see till after this next baby is born. But COME ON, what a wonderful wonderful note to leave on, as I enter into the next 9 months. I was left with a hope, that perhaps my body had finally dealt with the illness that had taken over 6 years earlier. Maybe, just maybe the long season of illness had passed ... (only time will tell.)

So here we are, now into my 10th week of pregnancy, and slowly but surely trucking along ... I AM TIIIRED, thats my number one symptom. I drag through the day, sometimes literally holding my eyelids open. I don't drink coffee, so I am running off of little to NO energy. But really, I don't have many other symptoms than than. I am nauseated nearly every day around lunch, but I have not thrown up once. If you knew how bad my first pregnacy was with Tatum, you would realize that that is a walk in the park compared to her. I threw up at least twice a day from week 6 to week 20 with her. So all things considered, when I'm not fighting my eyelids, I'm very thankful that I am not as sick (at least not yet) this time around.

We are thrilled beyond belief that the Lord would bless us with another little one. Tatum has changed our lifes a thousand times for the better, and we can't imagine what this next one will do to our hearts. He or she will be making their appearance sometime in April ... so get ready, get set ... the Wilson 4 are coming soon!

Here is how we announced the news ...

We rode, we laughed, we cried, and we SURVIVED. WILSON family Disneyland trip 2012!

I haven't blogged in over a month ... a lot has been going on. But in a couple of weeks, when the summer finally comes to an official close, I plan on writing a summer overview blog because ... its been AMAZING, and I want to share it with all of you!

BUT FOR NOW ... I HAD to write about our Wilson family DISNEYLAND EXTRAVAGANZA (mainly for the sake of my family, who wanted to see pictures, and wanted to see how I would blog about the sheer chaos of it all.) There are MANY pictures, but with so many people, it takes a lot of pictures to capture that many faces. Jeremey forgot our camera at home, so I was left with my shattered iphone for all the picture taking. (Some pictures were also taken by Jeremey's moms camera.)

Anyways, for those that don't know, the whole Wilson family, minus Jeremey's oldest brother and wife, decided to take on Disneyland and California adventure in 2 days. There were 23 of us, 13 kids, and 10 adults, 6 of them were under the age of 5. Are we crazy? YES, was it hard? YES. Did we have fun? YES. Would we do it again? Probably ;)

Just to recap ...
- The trip was paid in full by Jeremey's parents (Hotel, park tickets) ... 23 people. You ADD it up. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!
- We all wore matching tie dye shirts ... how cute!
- We lost 4 kids ... yes, no joke. We lost one kid twice, one kid was riding the carousel without us knowing, and one was left in the restroom ... I think.
- We had one bloody face, from a kid climbing on the railing of a ride line.
- We spent 20 minutes stuck inside the elevator compartment in the haunted mansion in the dark ... with all the kids.
- We had several teenager breakdowns ... naturally
- We lost out car twice in the parking lot, because we failed to see where we parked at the beginning of the day.
- We rode a lot of rides, ate a lot of food, walked till our feet were falling off, and strolled a lot of sleeping toddlers.
- Lost one stroller, and it was mine, full of all our stuff, and one of our nieces purses. We eventually found it in a stroller parking lot,  NOWHERE NEAR where we left it. We escaped the trauma with only a few minor heart attacks.
- Had a couple tear filled moments from taking too young of children on WAY too scary of rides for them. (Space mountain, and tower of terror, sorry micah.)
- Finally mastered the baby swap fast pass, the last ride of the second day there. Could have really come in handy earlier.
- WE WENT, WE RODE, WE PANICKED, WE STRESSED, WE LAUGHED, WE CRIED, AND WE SURVIVED!!!
- Despite the craziness, I know it will be a time we all will NEVER forget. Having all the cousins together was a dream, and seeing the kids have so much fun was worth it all!

                                    HERE WE ALL ARE ...
THE TWO THAT MADE IT ALL HAPPEN!
ALL 13 KIDS LINED UP IN BIRTH ORDER ... mostly

WE RODE RIDES

WE STOOD AROUND A LOT, weather trying to figure out where to go and how to get there, or waiting in ride lines.

WE MET CHARACTERS

AND WE HAD A WHOLE LOT OF DISNEY FUN, WITH A WHOLE LOT OF WILSON LOVE!

My favorite picture of the trip. My two little lovebugs asleep during the firework show!

My baby ain't no baby anymore ...

This next Monday Tatum will be 1 1/2 ... Wow.  I'm loving this age, as her personality is really becoming her own, making life all the more exciting and entertaining.

In the last 6 months she has learned to: Walk, run, jump, swim with floaties, play soccer like a pro, color, eat with utensils, say a ton of words, drive a motorized car and a billion other things.
Her favorite: words to say are cracker and ball, her favorite day to day activity is going on walks and picking up every single stick, rock and flower she can find, her favorite toy is her baby doll, and her favorite food are peas and blueberries.
Loves: having dance parties, splashing in the ocean waves, daddy, grandmas and grandpas, and playing with anything that is electronic and really expensive.
Hates: getting her diaper changed, going in her stroller, riding in her car seat, reading the same book for more than 60 seconds, and potatoes.
Obsessed with: the show the fresh beat band, real life babies, and cats.
Most difficult traits: Endless energy, fearless daredevil, super stubborn when in the wrong mood, and loves throwing her food on the ground.
Most wonderful traits: She's a little comedian, has sick dance moves, learns quickly, is a great sleeper, is sensitive and loving, and is stinkin beautiful and adorable.
Favorite thing about her being almost 1 1/2 years old: The fact that we can take her places and she can truly enjoy herself, rather than just being stuck in a stroller or carseat. Hence, the fair this last weekend. She LOVED it and we took a gazillion pictures.
