"This is a story that is often untold, and overlooked. A raw adventure of fighting the elements of illness, as a young wife and mother by seeking Jesus first. Start from the beginning, and see how the Lord can take a very broken and ill individual and bring about a truly unique LIFE and LOVE story." - BRYNN (& Jeremey and Tatum).

A time to relax - Our easter break Vacation.

(Wow, I really need to re-do the header on this blog, my child doesn't look like that anymore ... moving on ...)

I haven't blogged in a while, things have been kind of busy around here, but luckily we just got home from a nice long vacation with my parents in Palm Springs (praise the Lord!) and are geared up to take on the rest of this spring season. (By the way, am I the only person who doesn't like spring? I never have. In fact I kind of dread it. It always feels like it drags on and on, and I ALWAYS lose track of what month it is)

But anyways, my parents DROVE down from Oregon, 18 hours, with an SUV full of stuff that I never was able to pack up from my life before I got married. It was a long overdue trip, and such a sacrifice on their part. They blessed us with a whole new bedroom set, and now Jeremey and my bedroom looks more "adult" rather than the unsophisticated college dorm room feel that we previously had. Jeremey and I may both be into "artsy" things, video/editing/music ect, but we do not know how to design a house, thats for sure ...

The rest of my parents visit we spent in Palm Springs relaxing, tanning, eating, and playing ... I think Tatum grew up at least 3 years. She loves the water, she loves to cook and she loves her grandma and grandpa. We couldn't have had a better time. My mom took a million pictures. Therefore Tatum is in every single one, cuz why on earth would she take a picture without her in it? haha. So, sorry if the pictures get reduntant. I personally can't get enough of the kid, but I know that not everyone cares to look at the same child over and over, haha.

... A little run down of our time away ...

(we kicked off the trip with Tatum getting her very first wetsuit as a present from grandpa. O'niel none the less. I have never seen an article of clothing so small and so cute. Pictures can't do it justice, because even though my Tatum may look big, she is still a mere 19 pounds. tiny little thing. My stepdad is a white water rafting guide, so he spends most of his time on the river. He wanted to start Tatum out on the right foot. He couldn't find one in pink, so he went with blue, oh well. She practically didn't take this thing off the whole time we were there.)

Spending time in the lazy river as a family. Most relaxing thing ever.

My mom found a swimming suit of mine from high school, and brought it with her. Jeremey just thought it was the funniest thing ever, especially that Tatum and I matched. So we had to snap a picture.

With grandma, having the time of her life!

Tatum spent A LOT of time in the kitchen with grandpa. She developed an obsession with stirring things ... hence

Momma and her girl!
Another family picture!

Early morning walks with the grandparents.

Tatum and grandpa sharing food as usual.

She also developed a new love for reading. Can't get enough of it.

Always dancing.

My girl ended up getting sick, towards the end of the trip. Spent a lot of time in her grandparents arms getting cuddles.

We celebrated easter early on Saturday because grandma and grandpa were leaving early Sunday morning. When we hid the eggs around the house, we figured Tatum would have no idea what to do. Much to our surprise, she found every single one and stuck them in her basket!

Saying goodbye ... sad
Snuggled in our new bed at home. Thank you Lord for such a wonderful vacation, and especially for dying on the cross for our sins so that we may have everlasting life and rising from the dead! Happy Easter!
