"This is a story that is often untold, and overlooked. A raw adventure of fighting the elements of illness, as a young wife and mother by seeking Jesus first. Start from the beginning, and see how the Lord can take a very broken and ill individual and bring about a truly unique LIFE and LOVE story." - BRYNN (& Jeremey and Tatum).

"ENGAGING" our creative sides/videos.

(There are 2 videos on this blog post. Unfortunately I can't keep the videos from automatically playing when you click on the post. So you will have to go down and pause/stop the videos and watch them separately if you don't want an earful of noise.)

2 years ago, Jeremey and I were preparing for our wedding and making this "music/engagement video" of how we met and fell in Love (the top video). I Love working with my husband on creative projects. It is one of the many things that drew us together in the first place. Jeremey just finished editing another engagement video (a bit different style than ours, haha) this last week and I thought I would pass it on to you bloggers to see (the bottom video). We have had the priveldge this summer to do pre-marraige counseling for this awesome couple. It sounds kind of silly ... Jeremey and I doing marriage counseling having been married just shy of 2 years. But nonetheless the Lord laid it on Eleazar and Bekahs hearts to get insight from us of all people, haha. They saw that though young in our marriage, that the trials we have been through, especially with my illness, run deep and brought about a sped-up maturity. Don't get us wrong, we KNOW that there are a world of things about marriage we do not know, and we are far from mature ... but nonetheless we had a blast, and Love them so much, and hope the Lord was glorified through our time with them. Ele and Bekah shot this footage on a trip they made up to Oregon (her home state), leading up to their proposal. The battery ran out just before he popped the question while playing in the paint, but the pictures at the end show you all the emotion and happiness you need to see (check out what Ele painted on her chest, so sweet and SO CREATIVE!). Jeremey had a blast editing this video together for them, and we just can't wait for their big day NEXT Friday in Oregon. (They even asked our little Tatum to be their flower girl) unfortunately with her starting to teeth and be more unpredictable and all the newness of traveling it seemed a bit risky to commit to such a small baby going down the isle. But she sure would have been cute. Speaking of her, she is 8 months old TODAY!!!

Let the good times roll!

Summer is over ... well kinda ...

It is still in the 100s here (blazing hot, too hot to go outside), but the new semester has STARTED!

I can't even believe how quick the last 3 months have gone. It was an amazing summer, especially since the Lord has allowed me to feel significantly better. What a praise report. But now the busiest season of our lives is about to begin. (I can't believe I am even saying that considering last fall at this time, I was majorly pregnant and gearing up for my whole life to change.)

Us wilsons are busy from now through thanksgiving ... straight ... I am a little anxious and stressed even writing that, but I know that the Lord is IN CONTROL. Jeremey is teaching this semester. The books of 1st and 2nd Peter. What an honor huh? I can't wait to see what the Lord teaches him and teaches through him. Be praying for him, as we are sure that the enemy will try to come in and distract and destroy as he studys each week. We pray that the Lord will get the Glory through his teaching. We just finished up 2 weeks of having Jeremey's family and my family here visiting, and in a week and a half will be taking Tatum on her first plane flight to OREGON to film our friends wedding and see my family. I can't even begin to express how excited I am to share with her the sheer awesomeness of the best state in the country. Haha! Not like she will know whats going on, or remember anything about it, but who cares. We will take a million pictures to share with her when she is older. Even as I write this it feels a bit surreal. I am heading back to MY hometown with my DAUGHTER??? So So so strange and amazing at the same time. The last time I was in Oregon is when we found out I was pregnant, things have changed just a little bit since then ;) The day after we come home, my parents and extended family are flying down for my cousin Joys graduation celebration at DISNEYLAND. This is the cousin Tatum was named after. My cousin Joy has been talking about this Disneyland trip for at least the last 8 years. No but seriously, its all she wanted to do when she graduated from highschool. If you remember from my post when Tatum was born, my cousin is the same age as me. but when she was just little stopped developing correctly, and is a bit developmentally behind. So at 26 she is graduating highschool, and we couldn't be more excited for her. SO Disneyland HERE WE COME. A whole week of magical fun! Right after my family leaves, the entire Wilson clan, ALL of them, will be heading into town for Jeremey's brother Daniels wedding! Dominique and Daniel we Love you guys and can't wait for your amazing day. Following that Jeremey is filming a bajillion weddings back to back, we have our second wedding anniversary, Jeremey and I both turn 27, another trip to Oregon for thanksgiving, Christmas with the Wilsons in Arizona, and then BAM Tatum turns one ... Phew. My head is spinning more than normal now just from writing all that. ALL that to say FALL IS GOING TO BE NUTS, it is going to be FUN, but also NUTS. Lots of events and lots of traveling is kinda hard with chronic vertigo, and a baby. So if you think about it, I could use a lot of prayer. Especially for our flights to Oregon. Statistics show that when I fly, my vertigo gets 10 times worse. Please pray!

Not to mention, somewhere in there our little Tatum will be starting to walk, teeth, and continue to take on the rest of the world that she hasn't already conquered. Have I mentioned that I think Tatum is the most wonderful child to ever crawl the earth? Well she is (in my opinion). Everyday I am more amazed by how smart, and tenacious, and funny (not to mention CUTE) she is. As her momma I can say all these things right? She is an out of this world kind of blessing. She brings our family so much joy it is ridiculous. She truly lives up to her name! And for all of you who were wondering when our little baldy would grow hair. It has BEGUN. Overnight it seems. It is fluffy, wavy, and BLOND. Go figure right? I have a blond haired, blue eyed, pasty white child (for now). She is her daddys girl for sure.

The Lord is so good to us. We are so underserving of such blessings in our lifes. He has been faithful to hold us up as a family through some really rough times, and as we go into such a busy season, we know that He will be holding us up through this time as well!

New baby on the way ... no not ours.

As many of you know, Jeremey comes from a big family. He is the baby of 5, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Including Tatum there are 14 nieces and nephews, so far ... About a month ago we found out that his sister Stephanie is pregnant again. This came as quite a shock and surprise to everyone because of the complications Stephanie has had in the past with her pregnancies. She was actually told after her last baby, that if she were to get pregnant again, that she and the baby would be at GREAT risk. Stephanie has had 7 previous pregnancies. All 7 were C-sections. Her third child Nikki passed away when he was nearly 2 years old, and her 6th child Piper, passed away after being born at 28 weeks. Her family, though full of energy and spunk, and non stop action, has been through a lot over the years, and though we are all super thrilled to have another Wilson/Dorsey to add to the crazy mix, I just wanted to write this blog to ask for prayer for this new little addition. Because of how high risk the pregnancy is, the journey will more than likely not be easy, and probably a bit scary. Stephanie is currently seeing her doctor twice a week for check ups, and as she rounds out her first trimester, so far everything is going well.

Please pray for her husband Nick as well, and her 5 kids, Madison, Ryan, Emily, Luke and Micah as they support their mom on this journey. I know that all the prayers I had during my pregnancy really did make a huge difference, so I wanted to have you all lift this little baby up as well. We know that the Lord has a perfect plan for her family, and want to pray that His will WILL be done! As I was writing this we received a call from Stephanie telling us that she had just gone and gotten an ultrasound done to find out the gender, and IT IS A GIRL!!! YAYAYAY. She wanted a girl, and now Lord willing Tatum will have a little buddy to pal around with for life at family gatherings ...

The picture is of Stephanie and Tatum, just after T was born. Doesn't she look way too good and way too young to be on her 8th pregnancy! You Rock Steph. You are a great mom!

Tatum cracking us up at bedtime!

Tatum has a bit of her dads sense of humor. She thinks she is pretty funny. Here is just a little video of a nighttime reading with Tatum. It appears as though she is disagreeing with some pretty monumental biblical truths, when in actuality she just shakes her head a lot when she is super tired. Nonetheless she was crackinig us up as usual.
