From my own personal encounters/stories with Brent, I have seen that he is a true man of God, full of a great desire to know and teach the word, and a prayer worrier. Back in 2006 when I was at my very sickest and attending a sunday night chapel that he was teaching at. I very specifically remember nearly passing out in my wheelchair from extreme pain and dizziness. One of my roommates rushed up to the stage and asked Brent for help. Within seconds he had the entire student body surrounding and praying for me. And more recently, just after Brent first found out that he had a brain tumor. I happened to run into him while in the hospital parking lot. Much to my surprise he rushed up to the car, and told me "Brynn, when I was going through all my dizziness and vertigo when I first found out about the tumor, I just kept thinking of you, and praying for you, and wondering how you deal with that dizziness everyday." What a selfless man to care one iota about me, and be praying for me, when he was dealing with so much. Brent you have enriched my life, and SO many others. As for Andrea, there are too many wonderful things to say about her. In the midst of one of the hardest trials she will probably endure, she still stops and asks how I am feeling. WHAT??? She still approaches life with such energy, and fun, and love, and is truly one of the sweetest and most beautiful women I know!
A few months back, my husband put together this quick video for the Yim family. It has more information, and gives a better idea of who Brent and Andrea are, and what type of treatments Brent has undergone. Please check it out!
